What is Fair Wear and Tear?

This terms is given to a vehicle (car or van) and relates to the condition of the vehicle through out the contract and on its return to the leasing company.

The condition of the vehicle is based on a number of factors including mileage travelled, damage and service history.

The BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association) is an organisation which governs the contract hire and leasing industry and provides processes and guidelines for businesses to trade under and follow. Business types covered by the BVRLA are Rental, Leasing, Broker, Fleet and associated suppliers.
